They seem almost universal on 66/67 models anymore but not sure if ever mounted by Chrysler as early as 1966.

Great - thanks.

I'm suspecting Dodge may have introduced them in 66 sometime on the new Charger. But yeah, not finding anything on Plymouth.

Ehh - I'm now convinced Dodge never mounted them in 1966 either.

...but they look dang good.

1967 on Coronet and Charger, for certain, plus wheelcovers and cop caps. In 1966, there was only one choice for a wheelcover on Charger, plus one wheelcover and one cop cap on Coronet. No fancy factory wheel, though.

Typically factory sales brochures show cars with only parts furnished by the factory or through dealer options. But there is that well-known Plymouth brochure showing a red 1964 Sport Fury with Magnum 500s. Hard to tell who furnished the wheels. I realize you asked about 1966.

That's interesting. Any way of seeing that brochure on the internet?

Motor wheel was the supplier of factory chrome "Road Wheel".

They also sold the identical "Magnum 500" wheel aftermarket.

Wonder how hard/easy it would have been to get them dealer installed in 66.

Here is that 64 brochure I was talking about. It is hard to tell who issued it. I did find a 67 brochure showing Magnum 500s.

That is interesting. Wonder if it really is a circa 1964 brochure or something printed a few years later?

Thats an artists rendering of a car. Printed LONG after that car was new .

years later is my suspicion too,but then my copy of the 1966 Satellite sales brochure has nothing but artist rendering of Belvederes and Satellites in it. That was pretty typical.
