Strange comparison but I know I have had both of the above vaccines. Not sure about the small pox but there better be some thing better for the polio today or I am not taking it ever again.
I would sure like to know before taking this new stuff the results will not be the same. Just saying I am not taking something to keep me from getting sicker than all get out just to end up that way. But then I may never know without taking it.
My doctor already knows this is a decision I will not make without his input as we have already talked about it. When that time comes I hope he has a realistic answer. Not just the go for it someone will have you covered.

When and where did I ever say that I look to her for guidance? Perhaps you missed the part where I stated that most of the people wearing masks are wearing nothing but woefully inadequate pieces of fabric covering their faces, who sadly think they're doing the "right thing" to combat the virus? Alyssa milano is just a representation of the world's ignorance about this matter...

Garbage? Not necessarily so. She had a reaction. Some people may. My 94 year old mother probably won't get the vaccine. She breaks out in hives for a year when she gets the flu shot which she hasn't gotten for years.

To me the whole thing is pretty simple.
If you wish to take the vaccine do it.
If you do not wish to take the vaccine then do not.
Nature will take it's own course from that point on.
Same with mask wearing.... I could care less who does or does not wear one.
I choose to wear one and will take the vaccine when my turn comes up.
If a private business posts a sign saying mask required , well if you wish to enter put a mask on or shop some place else.
This is no different than all the signs in the late 60s and 70s ( no shirt, no shoes , no service ) everyone seemed to get the drift back then.

There's another item of misinformation that seems to keep popping up-

This is the fact:

Masks do not protect the wearer, they protect those around them.

Not sure why that's not sinking in.
 
Want to see if a certain mask, or if any mask is effective? Take a hit off of your cigarette, joint, cigar, or whatever. Exhale and notice how far the smoke goes. Take another hit and quickly put mask on. Exhale and see how far the smoke goes.
It’s not a filter, it simply slows and disperses the stream so that your germs don’t go so far. That’s all.
It’s simplistic and not 100% accurate, but so are many of the people arguing.
I have a cloth one I have to wear at work. It’s easier if you imagine that it’s Taylor Swifts underwear.

That's a good thing to me, One of the best reasons to wear one. To help protect those around us.

I wish you were right. But if say airlines mandate it to fly and your job requires travel, then what? Either you get it or you probably will loose your job. What if they make it mandatory in order to get or renew a drivers license. Some employers can make it a requirement as well.

You are right in the fact that they can’t force you to take it. But policies and requirements will be put in place that will force you to take it or suffer the consequences.

CDC addressed my concerns about taking this today. Advise is not to take either vaccine if you have had adverse affects from other vaccines. Until the problem with this vaccine is isolated it appears I am in a caught 22 situation. I am feeling this is not a good place to be.
