I am diving into the 5000 mile maintenance of my Hemi Charger. What are you all using for valve cover gaskets these days? The last time I did it, which was years ago, I found that Fel-Pro or Victor cork gaskets worked the best. Is there any other, meaning better options out there? Original style cork is fine with me if there is nothing improved.

Thanks in advance.

Thats a heck of a nice car. :)

I also use Fel-Pro cork gaskets but i "only" have the 440 version of your car.
I personally decided to stick with cork. Its what they used (and worked) back in the days. Never change a running system, i figured.

I use Mr Gasket impregnated cork.
Never had a leak on my hemi.

Fel-Pro cork/rubber on mine.

Superperformance gaskets are about the best out there. Can be reused many times over.

Following,
I will be pulling the valve covers next spring to go thru the valves and am interested in knowing the ones that DONT leak

Fel-pro cork - reasonably priced from Rock Auto.

I used a set of rubber over metals that I got off eBay from Superformance. No more smokey manifolds on startup.

I use Cometic gaskets on all of my engines. Never with any issues. Also, reusable. I have well over 50,000 on my Six Pack engine. Never been apart. Hemi even has some custom made gaskets that they made for me for head gaskets and on the tunnel ram.
