Im Going To Dye My Dash Pads On My 68 Charger Tonight.

Going From a Dark Blue To Saddle

What Should I Use To Clean The Pads Before Paint. Im Using Herbs Dye.
Thanks

Wax and grease remover. I've never used adhesion promoter on vinyl or anything else under SEM. The only time I've used adhesion promoter was on bare ABS before I shot a water-based base coat. Read the instructions on the SEM can.

I’ve had good luck with Spray 9 to clean, then Windex to get rid of any residue. Use an old toothbrush or other scrub brush and keep scrubbing with Spray 9 until the dead plastic stops coming off. Then Windex, then dye immediately.
Works for me.
