In with a bunch of other parts that were removed from two different engines 18 years ago. If it's part of the poly 318 assembly then It is excess. If it is used on the 440, where? I looked around at some pictures on the web and wasn't able to locate it. I do vaguely recall something like this on my 1970 340 barracuda, I think. The mind is s terrible thing to waste!

Looks like a small block (318/340/360) Mopar engine to transmission brace to me.

You are correct Sir! Went and looked at the side of the 440 and there aren't really any attachment points for a bracket like this.
I should have guessed by the color it wasn't my early 440 but extra parts always freak me out.
 
Yeah, me too! In my case it was too much Black Sabbath, Pot, and Boones Farm!
 
Graduated (Thank God!) in 71. Ozzie is still alive, so I've got a shot!
