I really irritates me when so called singers add their own stupid touches to revered songs. The whole ah,ah,ah,ah,ahhhhh added to classic tunes is just uncouth. ignorant even, Presumptuous of them to change a time honored standard. So sing the damn song straight for cryin' out loud. Gerrrrrrr!!!!

Yep it bothers me too...

even more so when some douche fucks up the
Star-Spangled Banner National Anthem
with some lame-*** stylized renditions, it just sucks ***

My wife and I have been listening to Dean, Frankie, Harry Connick, Vince Garauldi, etc all day today. Love the classics!! Yeah, I don't dig the hip hop chicks destroying my Christmas music.
 
I call it "caterwalling". Just a bunch of hooting, and hollering to show how talented they are. The worst is the " Star bangled banner" . They drag it out for several more minutes, without adding anything.
