for 63 Sport Fury: I understand that Firm Feel and Steer and Gear achieve tighter feel by using stronger than stock springs. Are there any other parts that are needed to convert to a firmer feel? Firm Feel won't sell me the upgraded springs, and I read an old thread here that indicated that Steer n Gear won't either. Anyone know the specs? If so, i migh ttry to source stiffer springs on my own. thanks!

I got the stiffer cop car reaction springs from Chrysler dealer. It would take me awhile to find the part number though. I still have a few in my tool box out in the shed.

They are called springs but they don't look like springs, they are a disc

I have doubled up on standard light springs, it firmed up the steering considerably..

Thanks! Might I buy the stiffer discs from you? How many are needed?

thanks again i found part number: 1822 134 for all 63 Plymouth Dodge Chrysler Imperial. I assume this is the standard feel. I am still searching for the tighter, maybe police/ HD springs.

Thanks! I shall deliver the box to Red Head in Auburn WA tomorrow. They promise to rebuild to a H spec. Hope it is not too stiff! Steer n Gear would not sell me the thicker reaction springs, and also said that they install tight ball bearings, etc. They were very responsive, as was Red Head.
