Team,

In true bone headed fashion, I took a lot of pics of my old seats, and filed to measure exactly the seat medallion locations on my buckets and rear bench. All I need is the measurement from the top of the seat to the medallion top.

Also....installing these will require them to be added through the foam on the buckets and just through the seats material on the bench.

I can measure mine this evening if you don't get a sooner response
67 R/T originals

71RRHI posted on this in 2018 in the 1966 1967 Mopars section. There are measurements listed.

You go through the foam on both front and rear. I can get a measurement in a little while.

Approximately between 6 and 6.5 inches from top of the seat.

In the picture the fronts were pulled in, the back seats weren’t. I am thinking of pulling the ones in the back seats slightly, just in case at sometime someone wearing a bra might sit there. When new there were complaints from R/T and Charger owners about this.

I took the medallions off an original rear seat about 2 months ago and it was attached just like the fronts. It was through the material and foam, and pulled in slightly. Not as much as the fronts but was pulled in.

Back then, depending on age, and other things, I am sure some would suggested you would be more comfortable without the bra, then the medallion won’t bother.
Also my Dad put 6 seat belts in the 1957 Meteor. I heard that my older brother would hide the outside front passenger one when he went out on a date.

Does anyone reproduce that upholstered piece with the tabs that pull through the medallion and bend over to secure it to seat? I have had a couple break over the years. The tabs break off and the medallion just falls off. I need one now and can't seem to find a good one.

Cant say for sure for that year car but Tony's has some that they reproduced.

One of the ones I have, had broken tabs. At sometime someone took the vinyl off, took some coat-hanger wire put it through both holes.to the center piece and pulled the wire through, put the vinyl back on, installed it , bent both ends and works fine. I would use something more flexible than a coat hanger.

The vinyl material is glued on that piece and you use the trimmings of your upholstery to create that. As far as reattaching the tabs, I have taken the broken off piece and bent a 90 degree 1/4" end and reattached with JB weld.

67 seat emblems are not reproduced from any source that I can find.
