Is this your car? Or maybe your paint and supplies?

If that’s his car and/or supplies, the guy would certainly be sending pics of the progress, and by now asking for more money. Don’t you think?
Agree, his car is probably the shell on the right. If it still exists.

Mate, instead of all the lawyers how about getting some "tough" friends together and just going down there with a trailer and "repossessing" your property? Save all the bullshxt and legal fees, just threaten the guy (in a nice way of course). Chances are he'll just back down, if he's in the wrong.

a shop in Gulfport, MS
I'm sure you've been at Cruisin the Coast.
I've got a lot in Waveland, but live right across the state line in Louisiana. Look me up sometime if you want to meet at Gulfport Dragway for Wednesday night test and tune!
In case we've met in person, this is me and my car:

Tell him you're coming with a truck and trailer on a certain date and to have the car ready and if it's not ready, you're going to get the authorities involved. Go there, pick it up and go.

Its all very well, But when he wont even tell you where he is storing or working on them its pretty hard, he is not the only in the same position with this guy. seems hes well known in the area but has a silver tounge or **** just slids right off him and he does't seem to care of the feedback.
Says hes working on 6 cars at the same time. I have heard about this one, plus mine a 68 satellite (over 18 mths now) and one other (charger?) think hes even a member here too.

I never pay for anything without taking it with me. That's the only way as possession is 90 percent of the law.
Go get your car asap and find an off duty cop to go with you. This will serve as a witness if things go south and show the ******** you are serious about resolving the issue. The other alternative is the old fashion *** whipping.

What ever happened with your deal? I tried to PM you, but your inbox is full.

Hey, thanks for the reminder, I've been meaning to update this thread. Well, after multiple calls and getting very direct, I finally did get the car and still get a box of parts here and there from him and once in a while I ping him by text or a call to prod him along with getting me the rest of the parts. The car is just sitting in the back of my yard. His response is still the same, "oh yeah, I have a bunch of parts for you I'll send them out today" weeks will go by and no package. I have o bug him multiple times to get them actually sent. Most of the stuff he sends is pretty ratty but at least it's something. Happy New year.

Well, I must say that I’m a little shocked, and very happy to hear that at least you got the car. Is it painted, and did he install the front suspension stuff you sent to him, or did you at least get that back too?

All this is YOUR own fault. NEVER buy a car with out a title and if you do understand you are on your own.

Not kicking anyone ,just stating the truth, buy a car with no title and trusting a stranger, you get what you get, sometimes good sometimes bad.
