I took them off a 70 satellite.

I may be wrong, but they look to me like Chrysler calipers from a 1970 Satellite .

Look like the same calipers I put on my '64 Polara. I got them off a junkyard 1970 Roadrunner.

Your wrong.... Those are 71-72 calipers... Commonly substituted for 70 calipers when they are sent to rebuilders... A true 70 caliper would have a casting number 80012...

However, your reply was funnier....

Thank you. I've got two sets of these and they both came off 70 cars. I had always assumed that's what they were.

It's always amazed me how few cars retain 80012 calipers, personally I tend to question whether all 70's really came with them but I've been told by numbers guru types that they did....

Through the years I've owned over 25 1970 E bodies & out of all of those maybe two had 80012 calipers... Sure some were drum brake cars but probably 18-19 were disc brake cars...

When I would have a car with a sticking caliper I would rebuild it but most shops just swap them out with rebuilt assemblies...
