I got to spend the day with my grand daughter today. We colored a few unicorn pictures. Had a dinner date then she spent the last hour or so sleeping on my lap.

My Granddaughter is 5 years old. Love her to death and we have a great time but her energy wears me out. Enjoy your children and grandchildren while their young

My grand daughter is a princess. The only down side is she reminds me that I am getting old.

Good for you! Boy sometimes with the way the world is it's tough to slow down and think of the blessings we have. It's precious when they look and converse with you with nothing but pure love and admiration. Cute little gaffer you got there! Spent an hour with 4 of mine today too. Nothing better to see them smile and their mother happy and content too.

Precious little one you have there. Enjoy those moments. My wife and I couldn't have kids, so I'll never know that joy. The dogs have been our "kids". I guess the Lord blesses us all in different ways.

Don’t get me wrong when I say this but consider yourself blessed! My dad and my oldest (2at the time) were side kicks it was nice to see. Soon after my dad suffered a massive stroke and my boy was stunned and it has never been the same... so please take every moment and spoil them rotten and teach them when they get older.. Dad is still with me and I’m glad he is , still has his memory , just partially disabled and his speech is rough..He went to the hospital when he started having trouble and they sent him home and missed his stroke starting.. I just had to say kids are special. It sucks what dad has gone thru and covid means we haven’t seen him since March... I just don’t want to see someone else go thru it. Grandpas are the bomb, I miss mine all the time...
I am very lucky. She is my princess. She passed up shopping with her mom and grandma to spend the day with me.
