It's beautiful.
I like the looks of the yellow and black color combo, but a white interior on a convertible is the better choice.
That would actually make me look at a Plum Crazy/InViolet paint vs Lemon Twist, my regular favorite. B5 Blue w/white interior is very nice as well.

Love it! I wonder which one it is? There were a few of them made for the show, mostly from converted 1970 small block Barracudas. That colour would look great at sunset.

Or, buy any other 1971 Cuda convertible Hemi clone for one quarter of that price.

Yes and I'm sure you could have bought a green 1968 Mustang for less than the $3.7 million the Bullitt Mustang sold for.

If you're playing in the high profile auction level of car buying i would guess that money isn't a problem for you. $500K, 1 million, 3.7 million? Pocket change for some of those guys...

I know the guy that built the Nash Bridges cuda's. Jeff Bobst from Waverly Iowa. I've bought a lot of parts from him over the years, great guy. If you ever need any mopar stuff, especially E body stuff he's the man.

I have been fortunate to shake the hand that shook the hand...Jeff Bobst, the guy who was brought in from Waverly, Iowa to California to build the Nash Bridges cars under extreme time pressure, played a major role in the restoration of my '69 GTX. He was a close friend of the guy I bought it from, and contributed significant time and rare original parts to a car that was built as a community project to help a deserving couple though a really bad time. Will never forget inspecting the car, and finding original date codes on the mirror glass, they weren't reproductions. I asked about the story behind them, and learned the history of Jeff Bobst and the Nash Bridges 'Cuda.

so if i can get some celeb to use my car it would be worth 500K?:fool::realcrazy:

I did like that show, cool clone/tribute
(I'm not even a huge fan of yellow either)
about the only thing I liked about SF in decades

I even remember an episode even, where Nash charcater bitched about
all the clone 71 convertible Hemi 'cudas, Fiberglass this & that
wrong Shaker Hood & color etc.
when his was stolen or something along those lines/primises

Yep Jeff has some great stories over a beer at his shop or swap meet. He has some fun stuff at his shop.

When I lived in San Jose one of our Mopar Club members (Central Coast Mopar) worked the set on Nash Bridges in San Francisco. He had a driver quality 68 or 69 Charger that the show producers wanted to use his car in a few scenes, but he said they 'cut and hack anything in a car to get a camera shot' and declined loaning his Charger.
He said Cheech would come out before the shot and crack up the crowd doing improv stand up.

This is a TV car and has the DNA that will bring the big bucks.

I like watching the show just to see the chase scenes.

Here's the link. It is the hero car used in close-ups. Was a 440 now a Hemi. It's probably worth it considering what some other movie cars have brought.

Actually, it's not the hero car. This is the #2 car, sn BH27G1B282953, which was used for chase scenes, and also the engine sound. Nash #1 was/is the hero car, and was used for all the still shots, posters, and also for most, if not all, cruising scenes, probably over 75% of the filming.
