ONLY 18 of the coolest factory hood scoops according to this Hagerty article; but what do they know?

While I like them all, the twin nostril shakers are my fav.....whats yours.....

No 69 Dodge N96?

pfffftttttt

Had to quit reading when they said the Hellcat scoop came from phords and shevys. Thats a serious lack of brainpower

Shaker has always been my favorite. I just made it bigger, better and functional. Then the lift off six pack hood is my second favorite.

1967 optional HEMI charger scoop was missing from that list...
also came on WO23 and RO23 cars but was only a production scoop on 426 hemi '67 chargers if optioned.

Do you have any Dodge literature that says that scoop come on a Charger? This sounds far fetched, very far.

And they also forgot the challenger T/A scoop, maybe second best ever behind the A12 scoop.

The Hagerty article didn't forget anything. The title says it's just talking about 18 of dozens of factory hood scoops. But thanks for posting photos of other cool scoops.

I'd have to look. I've definitely read that it did before and I know that there are multiple survivor unmodified '67 hemi chargers that have it. I'm pretty sure that it was a dealer option (comes in the trunk type of deal) ONLY on 1967 chargers that had the 426 hemi and the Nascar spoiler.

OK so it’s dealer installed, they will install anything can make a buck on.

The title of the article is “18 of the coolest factory scoops”

Coolest appearance- the 70-72 AG wins.
I mean a remotely operated trap door that displays teeth.
You gotta be kiddin'!

A shaker is pretty cool, but all three brands had one.

Coolest air?

Anything that is above the boundary layer like the T/A or six pack scoop.

I got it "the mechanic"
Sorry to make a Bold Statement as I am a Haggerty Member for 11 years...
I receive the articles and on this one I questioned why they didn't include it due to the importance of the car and the cars reputation.
But: they DID include the hood scoop, as it is the same from the 55 t-Bird I believe!
Thanks for the "Course Correction" on the Ship Captain!
(I was a-sleep at the "wheel")

the 69.5 A12 440-6bbl Liftoff are hands down the best IMO

the AAR hood/scoop is also a favorite
(even if the real ones/hood all bent, because of the springs)

the 68 LO23 Dart's & BO29 Barracuda's scoops are bad *** too

& the TRX looks cool also or new Hellcat or Demon caught my eye

that Hagerty list isn't very inclusive at all
for an "all time best/coolest hood/scoop list"
seems like it's a best of/cool scoops, for that specific writer

it's not my "best of or let alone coolest scoop" list

that's my opinion, it's not up for negotiations either
