Looking for a supplier for leaf spring insulators for 1979 Dodge Magnum.
Above is the video I made of the rear axle part of the resto on a 77 Cordoba. It shows the stuff you're looking for but I didn't have a video of the actual part you're after. I know I bought a kit for a traditional muscle car (probably a 71/74 Charger) because everything was the same but it had one more inter-liner than necessary. I'm looking for an invoice from early 2016 to know where I got it from and I'm not having any luck. Most Mopar resto places have these available if you know what to look for, these cars are the same underneath (floor pans, suspension, etc.) as the 73/4 B-bodies. And that's something you can find parts listed for.
They are the same. The kit I got was actually made for 1 more leaf than I had. Sounds like it is exactly what you're needing. I had made all the trunk floor patches ( I really like my bead roller). The center should be the same as the 73/74 but the side drop offs are going to be unique to the Cordoba body style.I watched your video, excellent resto of the Cordoba
Your carI think had 4 leaf springs, mine has 5
Do you think the insulators are the same but the metal U
bracket is larger for the extra leaf.
I seen a web site Rust Technologys which list two sizes of
metal U brackets but do not have any dimensions to compare.
On another note did you use the 73 to 74 trunk sheet metal.
Thanks for you reply.
