*unofficial what are you listening to?* thread

Check out the dobro master at his finest.

Master musicians at every instrument there. AKUS is truly heaven-sent levels of music, the
likes of which no one else has ever managed to generate.
Damn nice people, too, every one of them...
The bass player (Barry) lives right down the road here.
I only pray they get together for one more tour. God willing, I'll be there to see it.

Just purchased an original issue 90125 CD (Yes).

It's taken me this long to get past the massive radio over-saturation that album got when it was released in 1983!

It IS a good album. I remember at least 6 of the 9 songs getting airplay for quite some time.

When it came out a group of friends and I had just finished a study of "classic" Yes.

There were many debates about whether or not 90125 was "real" Yes.

"It Can Happen" is probably the closest track to classic.

I also find it very interesting that "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" opens with almost the exact same chord progression and tone as "Heat Of The Moment" by Asia (Former Yes guitarist Steve Howe), released a year earlier.
