Hey all,...Need help on matching new Bullet flat solid cast iron cam to best compatible lifters & can't figure out the Trend Non-coated Tool Steel lifter compatibility ?? Also don't understand their "low movement" asolid lifters application..Are their Non-coated flat solids best for my cast iron core cam ? ...thx,...tom.

70, call Trend and ask them. They are good to deal with and helpful. I use their pushrods and H-13 tool steel f/t solids with the edm hole on the face. AND, they have a radius on the face that you can easily see and they rotate well. They are also 20/30 grams lighter than conventional brands. The push rod seat appears to me to be lower in the body of the lifter and that in itself reduces p-rod deflection at the lifter. I read on mopar sites that some are skeptical of the metallurgical differences and think running iron to iron is better. I would rather only have 1 of the 2 surfaces going away over time. Don't run TO MUCH spring for your cam/rpms and make sure you have plenty of valve lash. And breakin oil is needed. I have been a Trend Performance customer since they opened and will continue. Hope this helps.

Thx Cdog,...your cast cam- Trend Non-coated Lifter combo works better than std chilled iron Lifters with or without the Edm hole option & is worth the $$ diff upgrade ?
