My 5 year old decided today he wanted to help dad with a shock upgrade on my 72 RR. Makes me happy that he is starting to get interested in the car.

congrats & a great way to have quality time
be patient with him, explain stuff well as you go

I know all too well
I held the flashlight & got wrenches for my stepdad :poke:

you are so lucky to have your son working and learning with you.
That is life at its best for sure. these things that you will teach him will stay with him for many years,
After a bit you will be surprised what he has learnt and maybe even remind you of things you could overlook.
Enjoy, my friend and like the man says,, be very patient,

Your so lucky I wish mine had the slightest interest in them...

I usually had to chase the tools after my dad threw them across the shop.
