Intermittent wiper motor worked fine till I fixed it.

Does anyone know anything about these intermittent wiper motors? I took the cover off the gearbox and reinstalled it but the motor didn't work as it did before I fixed it. Just a loud clicking noise coming from that location when I hot wired the motor. This cover has a mechanism/switch on it that parks with wipers. It's not damaged just need to find out how it needs to be assembled.

My cat is fixed and he does less then before, also.

My vet does't find it funny that I refer to it as having my dogs broken...

if you look at the pic I posted above you will see the numbers to to the left and lines pointing to the different positions for the body style. It’s the same on the earlier ones too.
