We went to one of our local body and paint shops yesterday to possibly get one of our cars redone, not sure if anyone has heard of them but they are called Swag Custom Rides. Our neighbor is having 2 of his cars redone by them as we speak. These guys competed at Sema in Las Vegas, but these are a couple of the cars they showed us they have including a '70 Roadrunner and our neighbors blue GTO. Sorry if these are blurry I took them with the phone and was kind of in a hurry.....

Interesting, non-profit rehab. Like to know what it costs to do body on a car. Like any price all depends on the car. Materials are big bucks today. Quite a find.

Sounds cheap. Make sure you have extra wallet at pickup time.

As they say Location,location,location.
Vegas shops are $100 to $125+ per hour.Bodywork takes allot of hours.
Material costs are in outer space anymore.
Some small town shops are still around $50 to $90 a hour.
Even though wide margin,$15,000 to $20,000 Is what I hear.

Did they see the car? How much body work? Will they do a roller, that is a call them yourself question.:D

When it comes to 50 year old cars, it's near impossible to give an accurate estimate without completely tearing the car down. You just never know what kind of Pandora's box you are going to encounter. Even after teardown, you can expect additional costs as the resto moves forward.
