71 Charger SE build

Engine is done.

74 440 I bought here a couple years ago from @Ghostrider 67

30 over, full block prep. Forged crank. Speed Pro L-2355 pistons, 440 Source I-Beams, fully balanced. I use my original 383 346 heads with a full 3 angle valve job, hardened exhaust seats and new valves. Lunati Voodoo 30702 cam kit. Performer RPM, and will run an 800 AVS for now.

Glad to see the old girl cleaned up and ready to run. Was a good block. Looking good.

Great engine. Block cleaned up at 30 over and the crank was excellent. I sold the heavy rods to offset the cost of the new ones.

Got the paint booth ready to do some more paint work tomorrow.

Re-shot the front clip today and got the small parts done. The hood was a slightly different shade than the tops of the fenders and it bugged me, can see it in the first pic. Blended them together to fix that. Got one coat of clear on it and had too much dirt in it so I stopped so I would not bury it. Oh well let it cure and hit it with 600 and try again.

Took the front clip down with 600 and shot the clear again last night. Much better this time, some dust but it will buff right out.

I re-shot the jams and rear valance today. The jams were transparent as you can see in the first pic. Much better now.
