Henry rifles

I own a Henry chambered .38/.357. When we go to the range with all our fancy high power AR’s and AR10’s. Guess which gun everyone wants to shoot??? My as I call it “my cowboy rifle” We all have a blast thinking we are Ben Cartwright or Little Joe !! Depending on your age. LOL

I wonder if Ruger will continue making the Marlin Model 60 .22.

The only thing I didn't like about Henry rifles is that they are all tube fed, looks like they just came out with a side gate loader. Hopefully they make more side loader models available and I will buy one. Definitely a quality firearm.

The only bad thing about that rifle is that its very picky about ammunition. Wrong brand of ammo means misfires and jams...

A rifle I added to my collection was a Savage .17 WSM B mag with the gray laminated stock and heavy stainless steel barrel. Its actually a .27 cal. nail gun cartridge necked down to .17 cal. Cartridges come in 3000 FPS (20 grain) and 2500 FPS (25grain) and they are good out to 300 yards with the ability to kill a Coyote at that range. Last rifle was a Mossberg Patriot Revere in 6.5 cal., beautiful rifle and very accurate.

My son has one and it eats anything. I had to replace the extractor on my 10/22 before it would work.

The one I had would only shoot one brand without problems....

Made in America or not at all.
Best slogan ever.
This will be my daughter's first gun.
She has a pumpmaster, but real one is a Henry

If you have the money to purchase a top model Henry, than you can't get a better rifle. If you're looking to skimp, Henry is NOT for you.

My .45 cal M1911, and .223 Ranch Model Mini-14 are my favorites. Second are my M1A1 Paratrooper Model (.30 Carbine caliber) from WWII, and M1903 Springfield in 30-06. Henry may be on the futures list. Too many right now to add another without downsizing (sort of like my situation with cars).
