“Tentatively” scheduled for March 6&7. It was the last show we went to last year before everything was shut down.

Yeah, last year was pretty much a bust. I've been frothing for a Mopar swap meet within driving distance (3 1/2 hours for me). Thanks for posting this!!

There's a bunch of us up here in Ontario that charter a bus and come down to Indy every year. Pretty good deal for $300. Drive down Friday, do the swap meet on Saturday, drive home Sunday with our treasures. We went last year, but figure if the event was held a week later, we likely would not have been allowed across the border. We won't be coming this year with border closure, and just too much sickness down there. We all have to do what is tequired to beat this epidemic.

Didn’t go last year-what a disgusting media hype! Hopefully the media will stop counting all deaths as covid. Does anyone know when a DEFINATE decision will be posted?

The last I heard was it was up to the State Fair board as to whether they will allow it or not. I’ll update if I hear one way or the other.

I just got the information card they sent to me yesterday. My wife is down in Florida visiting her family and she called and told me not to fill it out and send it in yet. She is a little hesitant about this new strain of corona virus, but I told her that as long as her and my daughter that only lives about 15 minutes away from the fairgrounds helped me set it all up, they did not have to hang around until it was time to pack whatever is left up to go back home. Hopefully I'll get my way on this and if I do, I'll be in the same swap spaces in the 2nd building at the west end of the second row. I always look forward to seeing a lot of old friends and customers while I'm down there. I spend so much time by myself restoring customer's steering wheels and boxing up their parts orders, that I don't get out very much to see anybody. I'll apologize now if I happen to talk your ears off HA! HA! HA! This is the only show I go to anymore a nd that is because I don't need a motel down there. The last time I was at the Mopar Nationals we paid around $200.00 a night for a motel for 4 people in one room and the people right next to us also had 4 people in their room and were only paying $66.00 a night. I had a discussion about that with the manager and he said the difference was that they were not there for the Mopar Nationals ???? What a bunch of miserable mangy vultures those motel owners are !!!! Well that pissed me off to no end and I decided that having to give away the 1st $1,200.00 worth of parts just to say I went down there was more than I would continue to do anymore---all of the Food for 4 people, Fuel from Northern Michigan there and back, Entry passes for 4 people, 2 swap places and 5 nights at a motel for 4 people in one room. Yes I can surely say that trip completely wore the bearings right out of my fun meter for sure. Take Care and I hope to see you all down there at the Fairgrounds, Charlie.

Same here, we live about 30 minutes away to the northeast. Been going to the swap meet for probably the last 20 years, always run into some friends and have made a few there. And always come home with something.
Accommodations are one of the reasons we haven’t been to the Nationals for a few years. Motel owners turn into real jerks at that time of year. We found some tourist cabins out in the middle of nowhere a few miles away, very nice, very quiet. But, I think the lady that ran them either retired or died, they’re no longer in business, too bad. They rented for less than half for the weekend.

For those attending the event, I will not be there with the usual product availability. Dave and Cheryl will be bringing out preorders for our dealers and a small display of the items that we manufacture or sell. What will usually fill a 26 foot box truck and a 7 x 14 trailer will be brought out in the back of the pickup truck. So if there is any special request, please drop me an email or private message. Preorders will get spacing on the truck if we have it in stock.

Hopefully we can get all of these restrictions behind us in time for Carlisle.

69bfan, will you be in the same booth space as last year?

@PRND21, I am not sure where Deanne will position us. I spoke to her last Friday and told her that we would be down sizing drastically and that I hoped to be able to attend next year in full or expanded capacity to which she understood. I would think that with them trying to space vendors out and with the number of vendors not being there, that they would keep us in approximately same position. We had all seven spots on that wall and looking only to use one to two this year. So they could still put someone else adjacent to utilize some of the space alongside that wall.

Was anything said about limiting the number of people let in? After sitting out for a year, I could imagine a very large crowd. Last year’s show was the last show we went to before they shut everything down, bought a max wedge pan off you last year. Try to say hi if I can find you. Thanks.
