$10,000 Cash Finder's Fee Still Available

Man that car looks like one I went to look at years ago here in FL. Was a 70 383 4 speed car in the green color had a good strip not 100%if it was the same strip but dang close looking car guy had it listed for sale after he lost control and took out the tail end into a concrete wall!
This was before face book and c.l. I found the add in the paper $3500 and it came with a parts car! I got there and knew it was out of my league of ability to fix it and sadly left it there I could ask around if it's still there I know the area but not exactly you never know . But I'd bet it's long gone as we're talking atleast 12-15 years ago

If were going to bet, i would think your car could be amongst some really rare cars. And I don’t think he sells anything. Don’t think the fellow wanted our 1961 Pioneer that my parents bought at Christmas 1960. Hope this isn’t a hi-jack, or out of place.
 
Could hope odds are a bit better for you coming from an area of the country where salt wouldn't rot the car to crap. Been looking for my departed cousin's '64 Polara 426/4sp he bought new in Chicago - rusty belt region, for his daughter to get some photos of it if still around. No luck.
Sort a related...a stretch as it is...had a family heirloom, my dad's Franklin Longines' gold watch, my mother gave to him inscribed 'Dick from Betty December 1953'. I was going to get it cleaned to give to my nephew as he sure loved his grampa...lifted from my Dakota a few years ago. GD, this broke my heart! When scum-sucks steal your stuff, especially irreplaceable, it's infuriating! Offered a big reward for it posting ads/photo of it in the papers, searching pawn shops, jewelry stores, notified police....and friggin nada. Wish ya luck on the hunt.

Could try, if you haven't, some local Plymouth clubs assuming they're around yet. There was one in my area that I think was Plymouth Club of WI or vv. Got to know a member and he was a walking Plymouth encyclopedia. Always meant to join; but this was years ago never did. Might be one in your locale or where you bought the car.
 
Well, after giving this some thought, I would also consider buying another nicely restored or excellent condition original 70 Road Runner with pretty much the same options. And especially if it was the same color.

You might want to have the police and DMV recheck the VIN using preceding zeros before the VIN string that will fill up the required 17-digit field when searching (or whatever the total digits the VINs are these days). Just a shot but both entities that checked for you probably were aware to fill in the extra 'zero' digits when searching. Good luck!

Didn't find info. on your RR Vin RM21N0E132917, but interestingly found some info. on 132915 and 132918 that shared the assembly line with your's.

Very close, but not good enough!!!!!

Hmmmm, very interesting. I wonder if they could possibly be the same ones parked next to my RR on the dealer's lot when I bought it new. Is one of them butterscotch (Bahama yellow)? I almost bought that one instead. If it is I'd be interested in finding out more about it.

I am sorry but butterscotch (bahama yellow) was not available in 1970.
So it must have been another colour or it was a special order car (999 paint code)

Well they must have had some paint left over because I was there and saw it myself, and it was there and it was brand new from the factory, window sticker and all. There's no mistaking that color for regular yellow or something else. Keep in mind, back in 69 and 70 when those cars were built, they didn't use computers to always keep track of every aspect and every part and color that was used on every car. Some Plymouth's and Dodges were at times even built on the same assembly line.

Were those Darts the ones that were sold by a dealer in Edmonton and Regina? Or were there 71`s ordered in Alberta and Saskatchewan, I can’t remember. I know where two were, one was a white bench seat car. Galen Govier was surprised to find that information.
 
I’m not sure. I got it in late 1981 and sold it spring of 1982. I was like everyone else back then pretty sceptical that it was real. I had passed up a 71 340 swinger in 83/84 also. It had a 318 in it but then. I was going by my 70 swinger 340 with rallye dash, strip and scoops that neither of these 2 cars had. Plus the fact that a Demon was a Dart Demon 340. Kim

Man, what a puss I've become. I'm almost in tears reading this. I gave up my 69' with 66,000 miles on it, I was 17. How many kids owned a car like that at 17, I traded it in for my 73', 32,000 miles on it and in 1977 I bought my 75' 4bbl 400. I know that's not around, I traded it in for a new Olds Omega, what was I thinking, for 1200 dollars. Some guy I know bought it for 1200 bucks and wrecked it 5 days later. I cried like a baby. What was worse, he parted it out and wouldn't sell it back to me.
