1968 Dodge Charger Slant Six (Not Mine)

I agree with the ideals being mentioned here but,,, on his second post he did clearly say "..then plan on letting it go to someone else". Looks like he's following his plan.

Not that I agree with it.
You can't select words and leave others out.... "Just clean it up, drive it, have some fun. Then let it go to someone else." He never drove it and enjoyed it. It was for sale with-in 48hrs of purchase. I agree he is following his plan all along...

its posted over on the swap shop too.
along with comments.
only good thing so far has been about 5 other slant 6 chargers have popped up.
i really feel bad for the original owners who trusted max.
cars bid up to 42k......

https://www.ebay.com/itm/324456116524 Saw this on eBay. Slant 6!!!!

this is the infamous " I Promise " car.
the guy who has this listed on ebay got it off the original owner by swearing to him he would take good care of it and keep it original forever.
he paid a crazy good price and then washed the car and posted it on ebay where it is already 10k over what he paid.
lets all hope Karma comes around for seller,
and that the car does stay original,
like the Real caretakers of the car had done for so many years.

i think he only paid like 13,500 for it

Looks decent but Im thinking 129,000. My car has 54,000 miles on it and its a lot cleaner than that and my car is from the northeast.

Yea he definitely deleted the threads where he said he was going to keep it original forever and enjoy the car for awhile before selling. Then 48 hours later he deletes half his posts and never shows on the forum again. More pissed that he fished for the info and used us here for stuff then disappeared and deleted all his ****. Do you go delete all your old posts if you aren't guilty??? Do you wipe the prints off the crime scene if you weren't involved??? Nah..... I think we all know his original intent now! Sad too because that car as is minus those trim rings would be the hit of every car show it goes to with the /6 and the 3 speed on the column.
