I've had this one for 40 years. Starting to think about selling her and downsizing the projects a bit. Be hard to see the car go after so many years.

What's the cars history? How did you find it? any more pix?
Bought it out of an old closed wrecking yard, in Texas! that was being cleaned out to sell the property. it was about 80 % complete! last licensed in 1975! lived it's whole life in central Tx. Had a Border decal on the w/s and a high school parking permit. Think might have belonged to a teacher DNFS! A few engine parts were missing i-e valve covers, Air cleaner, fan and pulleys, left 1/4 window and upper side trim, taillights and trunk trim! had some minor damage to the R F corner! Have all the original a/c just didn't put it on when I restored the car! Replaced all of the interior with original door panels, buckets. Lost all my extra pics. when comp. crashed !

Nice. By your signature, I'm assuming you have owned a Tin Indian in your past?

This isn't my car. I came across it at the same classic car yard as the 63 I shared in the "63 Only" thread.
Looks very complete and solid.

Cool. The only GM car I owned, to resell for more, was a 61 Catalina. The owner of it bought it new with his boss, owner of the dealership, then ordered and installed the parts from the Super Duty list. 389 3x2bbl, #11 Keller cam, BW 3spd, 4.66's in the rear, 8 qt pan, aluminum bumpers etc. They flat towed it to the area tracks. Had 1150 miles on it when I bought it. Garaged since mid 60's, started every month. Open the doors and you could still smell the interior. Bought it in 87 when the stock market crashed. Sold it 6 months later to a collector broker. Made 8g on it. A freind at the time had his own version of what MOPAR meant. His was: move over, Pontiac approaching rapidly.

Sorry, I’m a little to the thread but I couldn’t agree more!

I grew up working on my uncle's and it only took me 35 years but I finally got my own convertible. 426 Street Wedge with a 727 that spent the last 30 years in a private museum.

I think that’s only the second time I’ve ever seen a 426 Street Wedge car with the correct exhaust heat shield on it. That’s a pretty amazing car.
