:welcome: aboard. Lots of penetrating oil, back off the shoe adjusters and use a ball pein hammer to hit the drums near the axle face to crack loose from the axles. Safety glasses, and gloves a must.
Thanks, will do, when the snow melts, couple days.

Thanks, not sure about lock down. Were out in the mountains anyway, well isolated.
Those mountains are a well kept secret unless traveling north and south. Coming home from Arizona after Thanksgiving our last hot sit down meal was in Arizona the next was in Texas.

I love driving cross country!
We try not to drive main highways. Now we have the time not to. This winter with closures and restrictions we did not get to many of the places we would have liked to. Stayed on the main highways to guaranty services.

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. What I have done with my '64's is trash that tapered axle rear end and replace it a '68 to '70 b-body piece. They are about same width and bolt right in. This gives you one piece axles and makes it easier to work on brakes and set axle end play if you have changed gears in rear end. Joe Suchy and Jim Kramer sell a lot of stuff from these cars. Also, get a Classic Industries catalogue.
Thanks Dave6T4. I'll check out classic ind. Catalog. We summer in Ontario, so may b
