Has the 69 Charger AMD deck filler panel stamping been fixed yet?

I just talked to my AMD re-seller about replacing the deck filler panel that I have, with a new one from AMD.

The panel I have is at least 6 years old and apparently the stamping was off. (Thanks to SGTPaul for pointing this out) It needs to be longer (left to right from the back of the car) by about 1/8 inch per side or 1/4 inch overall. (I verified this with the original rusty panel)
Well to make a long story short, I added that 1/8 per side but in the process I warped the panel.

So I was going to buy a new one from AMD but I asked my re-seller if he could check with AMD to be sure that they fixed the stamping.

I don't want to spend more money on something that is not right!

This is the message from my re-seller:
"It is the same stamping as the last time. They show no revision on that part In the computer"


SO I was hoping someone that has just bought one could get me a dimension across the length to verify there product is off.

I have one i just put in can u show exactly the points u need the measurements from
 
If you measure the 2 longest edges that run along the rear window and trunk lid

I measured my original panel and I get more like 47 1/2 inches. Which is the edge along the trunk lid.
I measured down from the trunk lid edge 6 inches and 12 inches.
Then measured across the panel and got 45-1/2 and 43-1/2 inches

Why don’t u shoot Chris birdsong a PM and ask, he has done many of these and mite give u some advise. Just a though. mine looks good.
 
I have been able to extend a panel like that with a hammer and dolly. essentially extending the panel and the folded lip gets shorter. It was when I only had to work it to get an additional 1/4 inch.

If I remember correctly, we were able to straighten the flange on one side and rebend. The other side I believe we slit, stretched, and rewelded. Regardless, it sure was a bunch of monkeying around on a very popular replacement piece that should be stamped correctly in the first place.
