My car came with a milodon low profile oil pan which I've come to hate.

It's been banged up by PO's as my car came with P225/70R14 Magnum 500's so I've had to rise my ride a bit to get more ground clearance to avoid running the chance of hitting something & ripping it off. That being the case I'm sure I'll need to get a new pick up tube when I switch over.

I know my engine had the purple cam added by some PO but don't know which one.

Looking to see if I'll need a windage tray, don't think they came from the factory with one or not but I don't see them being sold with 402's that I've seen online.

I'm hesitant to go with an OEM unless I can find one in decent shape but as it will be under the car it wont be seen by anyone anyhow, plus new ones will have no possible baffle issues.

Where's a good place to get a new 402 & pick up that will not have any fit issues?

Thanks in advance!

Pic of your Milodon pan? I have a restored original 402 pan and pickup I'd consider trading.

Don't know if you are open to other options, but 440 Source sells a decent 6 quart "Hemi" pan that is quite affordable and fits well.

I bought a new 402 pan for mine 4 years back. Can't remember where I bought it... I'll have to dig through my bills...

It's still on my car. I don't have a lift, so I'd be keeping it on until I have everything switched over and then at put up for sale. I've got to save up some money before I can get this project started.

BTW Roger, that is the pickup you need to run the stock windage tray. Regular pickup doesn't have the S in it.

That's the right pan... but I don't think I paid much more than that for a shiny new one..

I haven’t looked, but I think Mancini would have a 402 pan “kit” or package.
Pan, pick up, tray, gaskets, bolts, etc.

That orange stuff on the flange of the tray, is that silicone? You really shouldn't use it that heavy as a lot of that is going to end up in your oil. Not good. I usually snip the tip of the applicator and run a bead around each bolt hole and then a bead between the bolt holes. Let it set up 1/2 hour or so then just snug it up finger tight. Couple hours later tighten to specs.

Trust me there's no more than a smear there and a cork gasket going on top before the pan.

I have a chrome one with pickup if you need. Pretty clean.

Gave Mancini a call today to see what p/u came with the special. They use a modified p/u that's made just for the 402 pan.

Mancini Racing - 402 Oil Pan Pick-up

The good news is as my 383 is a non-HP version I do not need a windage tray even with the purple cam that was installed by a PO at some point.

No mopar v-8 needs a windage tray. They go just fine without one. Its an option, not a necessity. If a pan is deep enough its better to remove the tray. But that is pretty deep.
