hi, does anyone know what part of console screws into the front floor mounting bracket. thanks

That screw goes in under the side carpet from the side. Horizontal.

Stole this picture. You can see the slot it goes through.

I only answered your question. What part of the console attaches to the front bracket. I believe what you need answering is what else bolts to the top holes on the front bracket. I am not sure what would bolt to those holes. Nothing I am aware of.

Can you show a pic of what you are talking about?

Does your floor have the metal bracket?

Does the console front plate have a small bracket at the front?

screw through console front plate small bracket to floor bracket

hi, it may be backwards, but does anything screw into those 2 top holes.thank you!
No. I am not sure why those holes are there.
The picture below shows two brackets. The top one is stock and is in the position that is is placed in the car. Take note of the left side where it is almost vertical. The slotted hole on the side is for a screw that goes through the console body and into this bracket.
The unpainted bracket on the bottom was made to fit the taller trans tunnel that is necessary to fit the Tremec 5 speed in.

The bracket mocked up:

See the yellow arrow? It points to a reinforced section of the console where the screw passes through.

I could not think of anything that was ever attached to those holes. I will offer two possible explanations. 1- It was used in some other application that needed the holes. 2-They were used with some type of jig that positioned them to the floor for welding on the assembly line.
