Chevy guy infiltrating your community.

I would but it sold off. Knowing they only made 11 FM3 Pink Dusters means its slim pickings. I found one recently that was rusted so bad the glass was falling out.

Fear not, saw a FM3 Duster at cars online site last night, beautiful car but I didn’t dig the interior re-done in Moulin Rouge and black

Of course you are not racist owning a Ford? You wont be seriously racing anyone? "Thank You! Thank You! I'm here all week!"

You know you want her? Mopars are like the girls your mom warned you about? My Chevy friends all secretly desire my gals? In my case? Plymouths. A little racer A-body Duster. A street dancer B-body GTX. And a Pro Street (current project build) wild woman E-body Cuda. A friend with a very decent '69 SS Nova drove up with me to a local show of about 150 cars. That Nova I would say in even better shape than the GTX. But who got more attention? Not even really close. Many Novas there. My gal was the only GTX at the dance. You know in your heart Chevy just doesn't quite have the same sexappeal? Yes, they can be heartbreakers? But what good is a heart if not intrigued?

I know what you mean. No one pays any attention to big chevy's from the early 60's until they realize its sporting a healthy dual quad 409 under the hood. When my wagon shows up to a show its like watching cows follow a feed kart. Then everyone hangs out for the next hour asking questions and telling me what they remember from 60 years ago. The 348-409 line of engines was the shortest run of any engine and there just aren't many people that know much about them anymore. Even the 348-409 guys I go drag racing with are nearly twice my age.

Welcome aboard. 340 Dusters Rock. I have 3 of them. One of them I brought back from Okinawa 40+ years ago when I was a teenager. You might say I'm a fan... :D
