Yeah. Nothing against anyone else but the Eastwood tool has totally changed my skill set!

Appears that Lisle can flare both 1/4 and 3/16 where Eastwood is 3/16.

Good question as I'm looking at doing flaring with tubing on the vehicle and some off also

I have the same one that KD posted pics of. It does more than just 3/16"

I would not refer to it that way.

More questions, please.
Do you need to separately
buy additional sizes (dies?) to do more than 3/16 eastwood

Saw Eastwood on ebay w/ 3/16 only for $78

And the Lisle w/ 3/16 & 1/4 for $62 on ebay

Thanks much trying to make an educated decision(no intention to hijack this thread - if so, please let me know)

The one I bought was around $200. It has multiple sizes as seen in the pictures.

3/16", 1/4". 5/16" and 3/8".

Thanks much KD
In lieu of having the tool in a vice(fixture) can it be used fore flaring in tight spots while the tubing is on the vehicle
I'm looking at installing an in line proportioning valve and don't want to take off the existing brake line(s) since they can be difficult to remove and are often seized.
Appreciate your information

You need to clamp the Eastwood model in a vice, so not for tight spaces.

I have a old Weatherhead one works every time single or double

Actually, most Lisle tools that I own are made in the USA!!
That doesn't necessarily mean "better".

Here is a GM Northstar WP removal socket made by OTC.

Here is the same socket made by Lisle.

Notice that the OTC socket is machined steel and the Lisle socket is just thin stamped steel and is reflected in the price. .
