‘68 Pearl White vinyl roof

i’m looking at putting the original color vinyl roof on my 1968. Mine was replaced in the late ‘80s and is the traditional white/ generic roof.

I received a sample from Legendary (about a 1” square piece) but the color seems to appear grayish to what I remember the original to be. If you’ve compared the Legendary color to an original car please let me know.

My 69 Charger is a pearl white top car. The white is more off white from what looks like a pearl clear coating. My car is also a stripe delete car. I had seen someone else's car that had a pearl white top and white tail stripe. It looked wrong to me because they didn't match.

You should be doing that outside where you'll get the true color difference, inside light just isn't the same. If that's the color it should be then do it! Think about when that was redone too, that owner may have wanted a whiter white top than the pearl white? And, how trashed was the original in the first place? Good Luck

I replaced the incorrect white seat and vinyl roof material with the correct pearl material & trust me when I say that you'll like it once it's on the car.

I have an extra from legendary I’m looking to move... my car was originally green X4 and I was going to swap the top, bought it and changed my mind... let me know it’s new in the box.

Thank you. I do remember the original pearl top and it was unique. It’s reassuring that the replacement is an accurate repop. Your car looks amazing.

My car is a 69 Charger white hat special but I don't know if the top is pearl white.
Is it specified on the fender tag?
