Driveshaft

I never saw a driveshaft actually being balanced but today I took the shaft from my truck to the same shop that built me a new shaft for my 69.
The guy is a real gentleman and I always bring him bagels from the island for him and the crew.
He did me a favor and balanced the shaft while I waited and let me watch.
It was very interesting to see how it's done.

Was able to watch a LOT of stuff being done years ago before insurance companies got in the way so if you are still able to do that, count your blessings! It's probably been 20 years or so since I got to see a shop balance a drive shaft. Thing is, I/we balanced pump impellers (some were pretty dang big) nearly every day and the balancer was big enough to do drive shafts

I dont remember but the shop I used the guy was great....Down the street from Wall race track.... NJ
