Hi
My engine is 572 HEMI GEN2. I use to have a milodon oil pan, but since the ground clearance is not enough. So I broke it. Any advice for oil pan that have a good ground clearance and can contain 9 quarts of oil. If you have link of the product that would be great.
P.s. The picture of my old oil pan is below.
Best regards
Chang

Milodon has a road race pan. 7qts only. Could add an accumulator for extra oil and/or dual oil filter?

No i had the motor built by FHO and it is external oil pick up I’ll look tomorrow on my order.

It looks like the center link is hitting the back of the Moroso pan?
I used the Milodon pan with the 1/2" internal pickup. much
cheaper, cleaner, and no chance for leaks with all of the
connections and hose.

Thanks for that zyzzyx u reminded me that i had to use fast ratio idler sand pitman arm to pull it away, with that being said u may be correct on milodon pan. Pictures worth thousand words

Will this item will fit my gen 2 hemi?.

Go to Milodon's site and look it up. The Gen 2 should be the same as a 440.
It won't fit a Gen3!

Thank you everyone for the reply and sorry for my English since I'm from Thailand.

That pan will fit your engine. Will it fit chassis? Ad says it will fit tubular k member. Sounds like it would fit your magnum force front end.

If there's a question about fitment, you should call Milodon BEFORE you buy it!
They probably know one way or the other!

Your old pan, you know that's not a nine quart pan, right? To much oil is almost as bad as not enough. 7 quarts should be plenty. Your 572"engine would need no more oil than a 426"engine. More inches does not mean it needs more oil.

I have no ideas, but since I bought this engine from Indy cylinder company and they told me it was 9 quarts in it. So I just assumed that I need a 9 quarts oil pan. Thank you for you help. I would go for 7 quarts oil pan now.
