is there a different rubber mount for auto and 4spd. I have a 4speed x-member and the mount is in front of the crossmember
Is that what your x-member looks like in the first pic? That to me looks like a a-body 4spd peice.
I just check your profile - don't know a lot about the 69's but you might be needing this style where the trans mount attaches to the rear with a boxed in plate area:

There should be a hole for it to go into and it should only fit the one way.My 67 car did not come with a drive train so the rear 4spd transmission did not come with the rear rubber mount.
My question is which direction is the stud off the rubber mount go towards the front or back?
I can not find any illustrations... Thanks
