Provide proof of ownership and I will mail it to you. Believe the car was rumored to have been somewhere Florida-ish?

Thanks
Mark

 Thank you Mark for trying to get this to its owner.

For a moment there....my last three are 479, I had to check.
Hope that goes to current owner. Nice.

Don't know why I didn't think of it initially (you guys probably all already do this), but I should elaborate further - for the "spotter" in all of us in case someone sees it around: (I mean, I DO have the build sheet, and this one would be a "restore to original" in my opinion)

Y2 Yellow; V3X Black top; Black interior w/ headrests; V7X Stripe (shoulder-line pin stripe); 383 Auto. Would look pretty much like pic below (from some web page - not the car in question)

Thanks
Mark

I hope it finds its owner

The original statement about being around Florida was reported by Galen (Debbie? Dianne?) around 2005 - I had emailed them to see if they might know where it was... The response was "You're in luck - and we have a "service" that "reunites" owners with build sheet - send it to us!"....yeah...no. I'll buy a repop tag or whatnot for myself, but no freebies to charge some other dude for, sir...

So - the car crossed Mecum's block in Kansas City in spring 2014. According to the listing, it was sporting a 440ci on a 15 year old restoration, so original engine probably long gone.

I sent a note to Mecum Cust. Serv., and Steve Haines was kind enough to get back to me and also do what he could to assist. Steve informed me that, when sold, the car was bought by someone in, and shipped to, the Netherlands. Mr Haines contacted that Mecum buyer-of-record and learned it had subsequently been sold again in the years since - but this initial buyer would not share any further info about its' current location or ownership with him. I suppose they were suspicious of some manner of scam - I can't blame them.

Knowing, now, approx. where it went, I started searching over there - long story short....found it. (at least, at one point in its' journey)

I've sent an email to RD in hopes of getting further in tracking this baby down.

I'm tagging our members in the Netherlands who have been active on here within the last couple months - maybe one or more of them can be spotters or whatever.

@Ferry1983, @Gransedan, @Jeremy Soul, @jmkcharger73, @MoparJW, @Mr4Speed, @pettybluebird, @TryFal

Gettin' closer!

Thanks
Mark
