Does this stamped no on front of radiator core support match anything?

Our 67 has the numbers on the rad frame, body code plate and back brace all matching. The number at the back is on the rear cross/trunk brace. If you take the bumper off, it is stamped into the brace.

My 67 GTX is the same more or less - top of radiator support and rim of the trunk lid opening - all on drivers side. But not the VIN - SO#.

Is there any kind of listing for various plants, identifying the month a car was built based on its VIN? On my old Corvette there are records that allow pinpointing the exact day a car was built based on its VIN. I’ve looked for this but with several production plants involved I suspect it’s a much more complicated process.

Seventh digit is what plant. Then you need somebody with a car made at the same plant and a VIN close to yours an fender tag.
Tough to get that info.

Not for that era. You can look at the scheduled production date but that may or may not be the actual construction date. Cars were built days or weeks on either side of that date.

Mopars were not built in VIN order.

Chrysler Historical is on hiatus. I sent a mailing and email to the last contact. I got an email back saying ‘due to COVID’ they were not able to process these. I would assume they’re all still working from home. That was last August or Sept, I haven’t seen the IBM I was requesting yet.

That’s disappointing. Need a warm day to pull the seats out to look for a build sheet.

As 69Coronetrt said, Chrysler Historical should be able to get you a copy of the IBM punchcard. This is the only thing that ties the VIN to the SO number.

Don't be shocked to see a factory mistake being made in the car's identifcation points. For my Satellite, the fender tag, Certicard, and window sticker all show the car as LL1 turquiose. But there's no question the car was born WW1 white. The IBM card is the only thing that lists the car as WW1 white. In fact, you can see that the window sticker originally had LL1 typed on it and someone crudely attempted to erase the LL and handwrote WW over it in ink. My theory is someone made a mistake on one of the three (probably the fender tag), and the other two (the Certicard and window sticker), just followed along and copied the mistake.

If you get a copy of your IBM card, Fastback Jon at http://www.1966-67chargerregistry.com/ can decode it for you. He does a great job.
LL1 was a very nice rare colour.

I know - and I wish it would have been that color!!
Had a LL1 67 383 auto Charger that went to USA in in 2004 so we could get our GG1 440 4 speed. Still miss that car. I have seen it on some sites. Noticeable is the antennae on the right rear fender, which was installed by the dealer. This information came from the original owner.

My 67 is marked like this also .

My 67 coronet was sold new in calgary, and it had a rear antenna installed by the dealer. This was also confirmed by the original owner. Must be a canadian thing.

Think dealers installed antenna's to prevent breakage. Mine was on right rear quarter seen them on left side too. moparnation74 made reference to dealer install in his resto thread.

Yes even back in 1960 dealer had to install the radio and antenna in my Parents 61 Pioneer. I still have the the delete plate, and possibly install instructions. Dad had the antenna installed on the left rear quarter.

I just took a really close look at the rad support on my 66.
I can see numbers stamped in the front face and more stamped on the rear side. There are NONE on the top of the radiator support

BUT, there is to much paint on it to have any chance of reading them clearly. I have zero doubts mine is not legit. so I have no plans to pull the rear bumper ,,,ever.

Look for all the tell tale signs , re-enforced pinion snubber plate, extra torque boxes and such .

Odds of finding a build sheet in it is very unlikely being has the car / interior has been restored

They can be on the sides I think. Some of those stamping should match the fender tag.
