833 4 speed Rebuild

OK I am converting my 64 Savoy Hemi from automatic to a 4-speed. I have all the parts collected for the project and my first job is to rebuild the Tranny. I have taken it all apart and sent it off to the blaster, should have it back Monday. I have watched the you tube movies but they are a little hard to follow. So just asking for any advice on how to manuals or any incidentals that you much more experienced folks might have for me. Thanks in advance.

Try to find the old Direct Connection articles, there are some great tips in there from Herb McCandles. I've done a lot of the mods and the trans shifts like a hot knife through butter.

I rebuilt mine a few years ago and have had no issues. I followed this thread on for a bodies only and it was extremely helpful. How To A-833 4 Speed Rebuild pics | For A Bodies Only Mopar Forum Good luck. It was much simpler than I had anticipated. Just make sure you have the tools needed.
