Agreed, Motown music from the 60's was great. What happened to black music over the last couple decades?

Couldn't agree more, I listen to almost all rock but find my Pandora station set on Motown really often. Hard to beat that music.
Love all of the singers mentioned above. All had great hits and had their own styles. Recently a female singer that has caught my attention is Jess Harwood. She is the lead singer for Rumors of Fleetwood Mac, a tribute band of the original band. I love Stevie Nicks, but Jess Harwood comes across with a very angelic presence with her voice and she hits all of notes exactly as Stevie Nicks. Look them up, I think you would enjoy the whole group. Emily who does Christie McVie is also a delight.

Some folks might say that but Mic Fleetwood thinks they sound better than the original band.

Just checked the first page, it’s not there. But there is one video that is blocked from being shown outside the U.S.

On April 24, 2005 at the Coors Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA, we attended the Gloria Trevi "Trevolution" tour which was her first series of concerts after having been jailed from 2000-2004 for corrupting minors, sexual abuse, and kidnapping (charges were eventually dropped). I had the option of having my photo taken with her (for an extra twenty dollars) but I did not take advantage of the offer. She's a nut case (no comment regarding every other woman I have known).

Freda Payne plus her sis, name escapes me was in one of the Motown all girl groups.
Freda I'm pretty sure is still around, man that gal can attack a song.
