Washed up, has been, old timer that needs to go out to pasture!

The drinking was probably in reaction to listening to his "Nebraska" album.

I’ll try to keep it brief... the intoxilyzer type machines that measure your BAC, are spot on if working properly. .02% certainly is not the margin for error. Maybe more like .000002% Every test that is run the machine goes through its diagnostics and if it is out of sorts, it will not test. They do mess up occasionally but almost always in that diagnostic stage.. but I’ve seen them fail during a test.. like only 1 time so rare.

Now I’m not a Bruce fan for his politics. Something is definitely screwy here if he was arrested for an .02% BAC (blood alcohol content). Maybe the machine did malfunction or maybe he did really blow an .02%? All these little trick to fool a machine don’t work as they measures deep lung air, not what’s right in your mouth.

I don’t know Jersey law and certainly the federal law pertaining to his location of arrest. In Maine, it is possible to be arrested and convicted of OUI being under the legal limit of .08% but very difficult. Maine law states “impairment” which for a person that doesn’t drink a lot could certainly be well under the .08% limit and crocked off their ***!

Also, most states have a duty to submit to a test. If you don’t submit there goes your license for a certain period of time (depends on state) I guess rule refused at least once but ended up taking one.

It will be interesting to see what real story is if and when if ever comes out. Til then maybe he can avoid the chain gang and “working on the highway”

I used to listen to his music, and my wife likes him but after he put his liberal bought and sold politics out front, fuckem.

I met the guy at Avenues, a high end dinner club on the Jersey Shore. He was a pompous *** and was sectioned off in his own little area so the "little people" wouldn't "annoy" him. Screw him and his Elitist Bullshit!!

My neighbor lost his then 18 year old son to cancer a few years ago. Before he passed, on his son's bucket list was to see Bruce in concert. Bruce invited the family backstage, talked to them for almost an hour and asked the son what he wanted to hear. I don't remember the song he requested, but for some reason it wasn't allowed to be on the set list for that night. Not sure if it was some contract thing or what, but Bruce basically said 'screw it, we're doing the song.' By all accounts Bruce was really wonderful to the family. The parents have seen him in concert since and Bruce still remembers the family and the son.

Thank you for that story that's terrible your neighbor lost their son.
I will say, the is NOT the Bruce that people down the Jersey shore know.

Will he receive the same punishment I would.
Oh HELL no. He's got money, and unless you have as much as him, you're SOL. Pay the fines, do your time, while he skates. He's a liberal dick anyway, hope they make him walk for the rest of his life.

.02? That's probably within the margin of error of the equipment.

When I'm on a roll of my walking around is probably .12
Back in the day I accumulated enough tickets/points that a judge sent me to drivers school. (Speeding tickets) The biggest part of the group were drunk drivers. The guy that was teaching the class was describing the breathalyzer process. He asked if anyone in the class would like to try it.
One guy raises his hand, and the teacher invites him up to blow, and he promptly blows a .26....right in the middle of class. When asked, he said he drinks a fifth of vodka a day. He stood up there and you couldn't tell he was even buzzed. Holy crap!

Dropped like a rock...

Jeep Middle commercial sucked anyway,
just like that hypocritical douche 'that they dropped'

edited;
he was arrested for more than just the 0.02 Blood alcohol level
or DWI/DUI, there was endangerment & reckless driving,
zero tolerance on public (or federal) lands too IIRC

(what I saw the other day, when it was 1st released about his arrest)

Dont blow and STFU. You are going to lose your lisc and need to lawyer up any way. I dont agree with D&D but it is a big $$ grab.

AA a good place to meet women? I’ll drink to that.

That is certainly one way to deal with it and a persons right to refuse. Definitely be quiet for sure.. in Maine with the duty to submit, if you refuse you’ll lose the license much longer than blowing and getting convicted.. upwards to a year vs 60 days or 90 1st offense. Best way to keep oneself out of this situation don’t do it!
