**Stolen 68 Charger**

Sad to see a cool Charger end up like that! I could and would fix that car!

Doesn't make sense to me that he wouldn't. Even if he didn't want the car anymore the prudent thing to do would be to fix it and sell it...

Another senseless tragedy!

Did someone try to act like they were in Hazard County? Sorry to see that.

Probably drove it with the pedal to the floor, but without understanding the handling characteristics of a 53 year old car with a modern hemi transplant the joyriders were bound to wreck it. I can see a Hotchkiss upper A-arm in the wreckage, so the suspension isn't stock but these old cars still handle differently and unlike new cars with all of their nanny safety devices, older cars are raw and will bite you if you dont know what you're doing...

Did they get the ********?

OMG...I would hunt them down like a dog....the Clint Eastwood way. These type of people have no clue what kind of hard work it takes to build a car, f@ck'in idiots.

That is a huge bag of suck brother. Give it time and before you know it you'll be out there spinning wrenches on it.
On another note, I'm not a liberal or a hard *** but I think I would have to give that woman the money she needed to move forward..20 bucks or the full 200.00 wouldn't have mattered. Sometimes paying it forward has it's rewards later down the road when you might need some help.
Best of luck, don't give up because even a busted up 68 Charger is worth saving

People that get off on doing something like this are in a place I can't relate with......

Not to minimize your loss....
Seeing what happened to that gal down on her luck sure puts things in perspective and will allow you to continue on without being embittered.
Thanks for sharing this as it helps remind me of what is really important
Best regards
Danny

So sorry and you must be totally bummed getting it back like that . Did they catch the scum who took it ?

another wondering if they caught the douche,

certainly, the car is fixable

& I understand if you put it on the back burner too...

I hope it's not too huge of a burden...
best of luck

Reading must be a lost art... I see multiple posts on how I should wait then fix it, I should have helped the woman with an extra $20, asking who crashed it etc... That is all GREAT but it's NOT MY CAR!!!! I was only posting so hopefully the OWNER could get his car back...
