Appears to be the same gentlemen that supports public television (?). Thank you, sir (RIP) so that we all have alternatives than being subjected to the crap on TV.

Sloan Kettering and Koch
I spent 12 years in Dayton Ohio and used to visit Kettering OH...the adjacent City
That is where Kettering lived and invented the Automobile Electric Starter after his Bud died from Cranking a Cadillac? over

So:
Sloan was the Chairman of the Board for GM
In 1937, Mr. Sloan was elected Chairman of the Board of General Motors. He continued as Chief Executive Officer until 1946. When he resigned from the chairmanship in 1956, the General Motors Board said of him: “The Board of Directors has acceded to Mr. Sloan’s wish to retire as Chairman. He has served the Corporation long and magnificently.
Charles Kettering:
Charles Franklin Kettering sometimes known as Charles "Boss" Kettering was an American inventor, engineer, businessman, and the holder of 186 patents. He was a founder of Delco, and was head of research at General Motors from 1920 to 1947. Among his most widely used automotive developments were the electrical starting motor and leaded gasoline. In association with the DuPont Chemical Company, he was also responsible for the invention of Freon refrigerant for refrigeration and air conditioning systems. At DuPont he also was responsible for the development of Duco lacquers and enamels, the first practical colored paints for mass-produced automobiles. While working with the Dayton-Wright Company he developed the "Bug" aerial torpedo, considered the world's first aerial missile. He led the advancement of practical, lightweight two-stroke diesel engines, revolutionizing the locomotive and heavy equipment industries. In 1927, he founded the Kettering Foundation, a non-partisan research foundation. He was featured on the cover of Time magazine on January 9, 1933.

These cancer centres are amazing.
In 2017 wife spent the entire year fighting stage three cancer. This involved many, many trips to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Alberta for chemo, then radiation.
The people that work in these sort of places are true super heroes. They are dealing with gravely sick people, all day, every day. Their genuine concern and compassion is truly inspirational. Possibly someone has a bad experience to tell about but that was not our experience. They made a tough, tough time into something that actually brought us some happy memories. Wife is generally the one dealing out the medical care. She was humbled by the treatment that she successfully received.

I worked for the Koch brothers for 11 years at Koch Industries. Due to the nature of my job, I worked with both of them one on one on more than one occasion. Charles was my favorite and was an affable guy who always knew your name, treated you with respect and was a quick wit. David was the consumate "Engineer" who wasn't much for fun but all business all the time. He wasn't overly popular but did his job and did it well. People write all kinds of nasty things about them but I knew them personally and knew they were men of character, integrity and honesty.

Considering who posted this reply^^^ I understand what he is all about
Whatever Mr Koch's politics were I have no idea and dont care, what I do care about is his donation to constructing this wing of Memorial Sloan Hospital.... Sloan has many facilities located through out the city and its no accident why it is ranked as one of the worlds greatest cancer hospitals.
Without the generosity of great Americans and the dedication and expertise of the staff of Sloan many cancer patients including my own wife might not be alive today
I wouldn't expect a person like Budnicks to understand anything about compassion or the dedication to helping others

Well said and put for the reason of the original post. What ever our other views are lets just leave them out of this.

Just to be clear, David Koch died in August 2019. If you want to get a better idea of his generosity read his bio in Wikipedia.

Dodge 330. I also worked for Koch in Wichita straight out of college. I was always surprised they didn't get in trouble for monopolizing the pipeline and refinery industry.
