Let's see em!! My motor's almost done and I wanna get some ideas of how things are gonna look under there. I ended up going 400/499 with trick flow 240s. Feel free to give a little info on your combo. TIA

Here is mine during one of the fitment sessions. I'm checking for header, trans, GV o/d unit clearance. Needed to verify and adjust fitments since I'm using a 70 k-frame. Indy aluminum low deck 500". Sister engine to the one used in the PHR/Mopar Muscle Violent Valiant. Mine is EFI.

Louise is just plain FUN. Love the early B body. After all without these cars the Charger and all the other cars may not have come along. :luvplace:

I lost my pic host so I cant post pics right now. But you can click the link in my sig at the 62 to 65 Mopar site as it has my first 440 build and the 493 build in my 63 now. Good luck with yours , Ron

Where did you source the plug wire stand offs?
The separators are just cheap plastic from Summit, maybe #SUM-440313, I can’t remember. The brackets I cut out of sheet stock held together with button head machine screws.

I really enjoy seeing photos of everyone’s rides, some of the nicest early B bodies I’ve seen are right here on FBBO. I thought I’d join the party and post a couple pics under the hood of my ‘63 Polara. A local machine shop owner and MoPar guru built this reliable 400 bb, it runs on pump gas, but no slouch. An emphasis on a factory look was in mind but turned out more combination of factory, comfort, reliability, still a working out some issues, it’s a work in progress!

wagonwedge330, Do you know what Mopar that air cleaner came from ?
I have one without the hot air tube, with a single snorkel but never saw one with dual snorkels.I know about dual snorkels on the ones from the 60's but that looks 70's.

I have never liked the raw aluminum look or chrome everywhere. So, all of mine get the stock look. But yet race at the same time on some engines.

This was from a few years ago. Bone stock 318 poly. In order to qualify for collector car insurance I had to do a little "aerosol overhaul" on the engine compartment. I pulled the valve covers and sand blasted them then repainted them, the intake and the air cleaner housing. Then I cleaned everything up. Turned out pretty nice.

This was also before the disc brake upgrade and the new dual reservoir master cylinder.
