OOOGHHH it looks so bad. I can’t stand the look of that.
I have a white interior car also and it’s just sweet looking with the gauges the correct color.
I usually don’t say it quite so nice either. It is F... UGLY!!!

Here’s the ugly gauge treatment on an otherwise stock vehicle. Compare to the radio which is original black face.

I never thought of the radio
if my car was # matching and had a fender tag I would not do it,saying that I guess we will see how it turns out.

I have been restoring gauge clusters for years and started using the white face gauges with amazing results! If done correctly, they turn out stunning. The key is to strip the original gauge face, paint them white and then install overlay. The odometer looks best if changed to the white with black numbers. The needles need to be airbrushed to whatever color you choose. Lots of time and effort goes into the restoration process. I have also experimented with a variety of LED, Electroluminescent and fiber optic lighting.

I did the white gauges and don't regret it one little bit. May not be the best picture ever but I like the look when done right. The contrast on the black dash is perfect and it's easy to read, day or night.
got mine from whitegauges and will be installing them soon. Im going to take the radio apart and make one for that to.Wish me luck.
