worst car show

It's cheaper to run shitty reruns of crappy shows than it is to pay to produce new shows. They have been rerunning canceled shows quite a bit. Fantom Works seems to be on a lot lately.

Yea,But I pay 12.00 Extra to Dish for this Channel.

actually found a few shows I like, but it seems they rerun the same 3 or 4 episodes over and over........ not to mention commercials for "1000 pound sisters" or some crap, on another network ........ people watch that?

The power nation programs are good. I have watched detroit muscle and engine power they have done a few big block mopar and gen ii hemi builds. The 70 challenger project was really well done.

I miss American Chopper.... and the old Stacey David shows. I like Bitchin Rides, Iron Resurrection, Junkyard gold, Graveyard Cars, Ian Roussel's show and Four Wheeler. I watch them for the fabricating and cars. Not necessarily for the acting. I usually turn them on while out in the garage.

For Canadian viewers, there is Rust Valley Restorers. This show is filmed in British Columbia. It features a dreadlocked 60-year-old hippie and his buddy. I have had goldfish that have more IQ than these two dumbasses combined.

We cut the cable about 4 years ago (should have done it sooner), so we stream channels on Sling TV. They have Motortrend TV and Discovery.

My favorite is Garage Squad. The worst is Fantom Works. The owner comes across as very arrogant, abrasive, and his prices are astronomical. Their workers and what they do seems good but it’s the last place I’d bring my car.

I'm currently torturing myself with an episode of phantom works....... holy crap; dude's a major drama queen, crybaby! everything is catastrophic, insurmountable, or a life and death situation ..... he sure does a lot of stomping around........all in the past 20 minutes, it's non stop

I wouldn't let any of these guys touch my car!

just when you think you've seen all the drama one TV episode can handle.........

customer was having them work on Mom's 57 chevy......... she checked out before it was done.......such a happy car show

Sometimes a Chevy can do that to you!!

I think rust valley guys are pretty funny!
no car show will ever be as good as lowriders, put the hydraulics to that !

Just saw the Fantom works where they tried to do a 54 cadillac for 50K.

...and said they couldn't buy the first year AC for 50K or the other parts needed for 50K,

So 100K plus just for parts.

Really?

I like Bitchin Rides. I’m not much on customs or restorods but those guys have mad skills and do amazing, quality work. And the drama is minimal with just some joking around. I’ve watched Fantom Works just to reinforce my opinion that no one should ever take a car to them. I wish Graveyard Cars would tone down all the nutty stuff and just deal with their work which is always interesting. Wheeler Dealer is always entertaining as is Garage Squad. A lot of the other shows are just so much background noise.

Yeah, there’s a couple of those shows where I get a brain bleed. I sometimes think they just throw some of those shows against the wall and hope they stick.

Just and FYI, WATCHED GY Cars last night, working on a 70 and 71 RR. It appears Worman has toned down the BS quite a bit.

Most of those shows would climb a notch on my scale if they'd just say "we wanted different wheels" instead of scripting dramatic BS "failures" as a reason why they had to be replaced.

I don’t know what a lot of these shows/shops would do if air suspensions were suddenly pulled off the market for some reason.

Stacey David's gears used to be good. Now like a lot of others they are more infomercials then anything else. Dustless blasting, snake oil chemicals etc. Now most show 5minutes fixing something and the rest of time trying to sell you something or acting so stupid a sane man can't bear to watch. (Mark Worman , Richard Rowlings). And all the other ones lets see how much money we can spend and build the most ridiculous pick up truck. I watch garage squad and NPK. Fastest cars in dirty south isn't to bad.

Roadkill and garage squad for me.

I agree, caught the same episode last night. Glad to see the cartoons and fake drama appear to have been eliminated. In the past I would DVR it and then fast forward over all the fake/silly BS, which left about 15 minutes of actual car stuff.

My son lived in Norfolk for 15 years and knew a lot of car guys. Word on the street was to not take a dead animal to Fantom Works.
