Hi there. I wanted to ask if anyone has installed the Uni-Steer Rack-n-Pinion on the B-Body and if so what oil pan did you use? My engine builder provided a Milodon Street/Strip Triangulated 7-quart oil pan but that did not fit now that the rack has been installed. At the moment I have a stock pan but with only 5 quarts total for an oil system I am concerned that is enough for a stroked 440 (Now 505 cu.in.) Plus i would like baffling for oil control. Thanks for your time. Regards

Have you checked on the Milodon road race pan?

Put a Hemi pan on it, 5qt in pan 1 in filter. Plus its baffled . Mancini has what you need give them a call.

Have the rack steering on one and had to get a Milodon pan - been a while so not sure which one. But to be honest, I don't like the rack and pinion steering. I bought a Borgeson conversion box - quick ratio, and it is nice. Easy to install except you have to cut the steering column a little and install a coupler. The box is a little smaller than original which was the main reason for getting one. My original wouldn't fit with the 5.7 manifolds, but if I wanted to improve my steering on any B-body I would go the Borgeson route.

Thanks you all!! Going to look into the the Hemi and the Milodon Road Race pans. Any sump other than stock will not work but I will take a deeper sump option. Thanks again. Regards

Unisteer......

Good luck with that. More bump steer than stock and a L A R G E R turning radius....Yeah, just what everyone needs.

I have a rack in my car with a flat bottom 10 quart Milodon top fuel/funny car oil pan with a dual external lines and everything clears. However, I do have a tubular K Frame also. I don't seem to have any rack or engine bay shots on this phone.
