As a paperboy in the mid 70's I walked passed a white '72 Satellite Sebring Plus . I had no idea what made it special . I simply knew it was gorgeous and someday I would have one . It was one of my dream cars for many years . I couldn't tell you the last time I saw one in person . I haven't seen one at a car show for many years either

The car brings back memories when I was dating my 1st girlfriend in HS; during that time her dad bought one brand new and it was stunning looking at it in their driveway - and as the saying goes "You never forget your first girl"...or something similar...

IMO, 71-72 Sats are the #2 best looking mopar ever. #1--- gen 2 Chargers. The front grill of the Sats on a '70 Charger would be the perfect mopar. However, all Mopars are attractive in some way.

71 B Body. Any flavor. Gorgeous Bitchin Brutes they are. Design by John Herlitz.

Just where would all of us MOPAR folks be if Chrysler Corporation hadn't existed? Perish the thought...my apologies...

Dakar Timm, I hear the same sentiments with my '71 Satellite Sebring Plus at car show. So many would say they never heard of a Sebring Plus. I've owned 2 of them and both of them big block cars. I love'em and wouldn't trade for anything else.

In 1972 my company, Xerox Corp, was offering the Satellite as a choice for company car. I was stuck with the '71 fury ll i choose the year before. In '74 I got to chose the Duster which came with 318, auto, & a/c. This was 1st year Xerox sprang for a/c in company car. In '75 I bought the Duster from Xerox when I joined the management ranks. Kept it until '81. Did some changes to the smog plumbing (eliminated ) to pick up some minor performance and better fuel economy. Wish I could have kept it. Also, put monroe coilovers on all 4 corners and really improved handling.
