wagonwedge330, Do you know what Mopar that air cleaner came from ?
I have one without the hot air tube, with a single snorkel but never saw one with dual snorkels.I know about dual snorkels on the ones from the 60's but that looks 70's.
Yes, you are correct, one of my MoPar buds modified a mid 70’s dual snorkel, probably twenty or more yrs ago. He was gifted an old unmarked, ruff, and incomplete 74 or 75 Monaco and part of the bb 400 remained. When he got into the trunk there were several air cleaners, several heads, among other parts, he is one who gets bored rather quickly, he began a modern fuel injected crate Hemi and he awarded me this air cleaner that he modified, (along with a couple 400 blocks and a 440 crank and other parts. The 400 bb that I am running now was one of those blocks. But, this was back when anything could be had at the swap meets, vendors selling engine blocks, parts that today are difficult to find. I will ask him if he remembers what the two matching snorkels came off of.
I gotta tell you, I really dig your Hemi conversion! I would love to see if I could mod a set of Hemi rocker covers and run the Hemi air cleaner, but then that might just be wrong lol! thanks for allowing me to ramble on with my stories! Love your car man!

I was rambling around and found some of the pictures of “Louise “ shortly after we brought her home. We took this car from a beautiful “trailer queen “ to a really nice daily driver. Makes my wife smile and that’s really what it’s all about.
