I'm still trying to work the rear suspension on my '63 build, and was wondering if anyone has the part#'s of the rear springs that were installed in the Factory SS cars ? I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have any pics of the rear axle mounts, front and rear shackle, or even a longer shot, a survivor car to check this out against ? Any help or info really appreciated, THANKS...

the 63 super stock cars came standard with the the same leave springs as cop cars with big blocks and highway patrol cars with big blocks they had a optional right leave spring you could order over the counter

Early2dr, THANKS for that info. I've been trying to find something for a proper fit, without mods, or forcing them in. I hope these will work, as I just got a pair ordered, and should have them in the near future. Thanks Again !

I may have a pic in one of my Max Wedge books as I will look later. Ron

VANDAN, here is what is on my clone. #2275862 left & #2196937 on the right. Painted them semi-gloss black. If you want original as early2drsedan stated correctly (he knows his stuff) I believe you should use 2 of the #2275862's?

JP, I tried the MP Superstock Springs, and couldn't make them work, with a decent look. I ended up ordering a set of original spec springs, from ESPO, in PA. They seem to fit & work pretty well, and the car has the attitude I was looking for, on it. Hope they'll provide the clearance I need, once I get the Tires & rims in place ? Thanks for that info on the springs. I'm keeping a book on All the notes guys are sending, as I've got another project in the wing, after this one...

Wow, that is beautiful! My favorite of all the early B's! Post some more pics if you don't mind. And keep me posted if you ever decide to sell! Love it.

Wow, that looks great. I second Espo for springs and suspension. Great folks to deal with.

I've been meaning to do a build thread, but never really get around to it. I'm not really a computer guy, and just use it to fill in the voids. With our winters, I have a bunch of down time around now. Here's a few more...

Nothing says " Race me. I dare you. " like a '63 Dodge. Those thrusting headlights are so aggressive. I ended up with '64 Dodges, but missed out on a couple of '63 coupes along the way. Regret it.

Right you are! Love the 64's myself. Keeping a eye open.
