Spend a few hours today plowing our road and all the driveways for each home here.
My plow truck just isn't enough now that the snow is deeper.
Decided to go another route.

I could have used that International for my driveway. That 9N of mine was no match for the amount of snow we got last week! 440'

Yep The snow is no match for the IH 886. Pretty comfy also with a good heater! I got it a few years after having trouble with ethanol gas in the plow truck, but have since switched to non ethanol gas with no worries. Actually nice in the tractor because you sit up higher and can see what the blade is doing as opposed to a truck. RUFFCUT

What snow you refer to ?

None here. took this yesterday afternoon. With mid / upper 70s and sunny

I like that tractor. One day I would like to have a cab tractor or maybe a blower for my skid steer.

Very nice set-up...and chains on the big boy tires! Have to be pretty deep to even have a chance of getting stuck. ;)

I agree a snow blower for my skid steer would be great, but can't justify the cost right now. I have my Ramcharger plow truck to get everything cleared quickly and off to the side and then the old skid steer to pile up the snow and scrape things down a bit more when required.

I see the price of the skid steer blowers have come down quite a bit. As long as you have high flow hydraulic

Tire chains are a must have because of the steep inclines on our road and driveways to a couple homes. I have 3/4 of a mile road and then 4 driveways that are between 150 and 500 feet.
